Itinerant musical event in various places of the Galleria

The Galleria dell’Accademia in Florence celebrates the 28th edition of the Music Festival 2022 on Tuesday 21 June, promoted by the MiC – Ministry of Culture, with Rossini meets Bartolini, a musical evening event with the Rossini my darling Quartet, composed of four female musicians who are also part of the Marche Regional Orchestra Foundation, one of the 13 Italian ICO (Orchestral Concert Institutions): Laura Barcelli, violin; Fabiola Santi, flute; Silvia Vannucci, viola; Vanessa Sinigaglia, cello.
The event is itinerant in various places of the Galleria, from the Sala del Colosso to the Tribuna, under Michelangelo’s David. The quartet performs a repertoire transcribed for this occasion with some excerpts from Rossini’s most famous works: the overture from the Barber of Seville, the overture from Signor Bruschino and La Danza, Neapolitan Tarantella from the Soirées musicales.
